15000 desks provided Chililabombwe schools

Using constituency development money, 1,500 desks will be purchased for schools in Chililabombwe on the Copperbelt, and extra classrooms will be constructed in accordance with the government’s free education program.

Precious NJEKWA, the district commissioner for Chililabombwe, revealed this during the orientation session for the 93 recently hired teachers.

Ms. NJEKWA, who applauded the government for hiring the teachers, exhorted them to put in hard effort and support the provision of high-quality free education in the region.

Additionally, the district has received a sizable number of teachers, which will significantly increase the number of early childhood, primary, and secondary school teachers on staff, according to Chililabombwe District Education Board Secretary -DEBS- Memory MWALU.
