Zambia has this week recorded 50 cases of cholera with 75 being admitted to treatment centers bringing the total number of cumulative cases to 912.
Ministry of Health Head of Communications and External Relations Stanslous Ngosa in a statement said laboratory confirmed cases are 86 while the cumulative number of deaths is 25.
Meanwhile Zambia National Public Health Institute (ZNHPI) Director Dr Victor Mukonka has expressed concern over people selling chlorine labeled not for sale.
Dr Mukonka also said he was saddened that some people were stealing the newly installed water pipes and taps in Cholera affected areas in Lusaka.
He said it is worrying that some people are frustrating efforts mounted to combat cholera.
