Additionally, Ms. Phiri, a former Kanyama Member of Parliament and member of the Patriotic Front Central Committee, took part in an incident yesterday at or about 9:00 a.m. on Rufunsa Technical School Road off of Great East Road in the Rufunsa District.

According to police spokeswoman Rae Hamoonga, Stephen Chitambo of Silverest in Chongwe was involved in the accident. He was traveling from the north to the south in a Toyota Landcruiser when he lost control due to driving too fast and overturned.
