President Edgar Lungu has defended his Press Aide Amos Chanda’s HIV and AIDS stigma on any citizen either infected or affected.
And President Lungu says Amos was within his line of duty to respond to the PF rebel Roan MP Chishimba Kambwili.
Meanwhile, the president has said that Amos Chanda’s remarks on HIV and AIDS patients or affected people don’t warrant a job loss on the part of his Press Aide.
“I have not received any complaints that I should fire Amos, I am just reading in the media, and for me, I can’t fire Amos over those simple words, he is a good young man, ba Kambwili deserves that and if he is sick, why should it be a problem talking about it, bengi twalwala and as leaders we must accept our status and so Amos alifye bwino, enchito yakwe mulekeni abombe, ” said President Lungu.
And President Lungu has told Top Secret that State House is in the process of introducing an open line for all citizens to be phoning-in and speak to him directly.
