Chilufya Tayali test positive for Covid-19

Must read

Aspiring Lusaka mayor Chilufya Tayali has tested positive for Covid-19. The politician made this announcement on his Facebook page.

He wrote:

If you are still doubting about COVID-19 please stop it and protect yourself. I couldn’t sleep because I felt like my blood cells are dancing “Indendeule”. It (body) was hot yet I was feeling cold right in the lungs.

Then I had that ka gentleman’s cough where you just feel dryness on the throat. The headache is mild nothing to complain about when you have been through serious pains of beatings.

I have no doubt I got my COVID-19 in my so called “Ground campaigns”, because I have really been around and many electorates don’t wear Mask, yet you have to talk to them.
Honestly, I strongly believe we have to look at how we are campaigning, because I think we are risking too much.

Fortunately, I have to go back home because I am not that bad, I will be given medication and come back after a week.

However, the hospital is very busy, vehicles are arriving like at Intercity Bus terminal, dropping people in various conditions.

The risk for the Health workers is so eminent, it’s like they are swimming in contaminated water. I really feel for them, they are sacrificing a lot.

As we go home I am worried for my wife and Kiya as well as other occupations of my house. My wife looks worried, especially for Kiya.

Anyway, my brothers and sisters, please stay safe, the pain of COVID-19 is just another. I feel like been beat by 48 battalions of the Commando unit in Mushili barracks in Ndola.
Good morning, and please stay safe, napapata sana.
