By Ruth Chayinda- Economic and Equity Party leader Chilufya Tayali has called on the Anti-Corruption Commission -ACC- to expedite investigations into the Kalomo farm which is believed to have been fraudulently discharged from Lima Bank, under liquidation, to a named opposition leader.
Mr. Tayali says he is still waiting for answers from the ACC on the investigations, saying justice delayed is justice denied.
He says the case is of pecuniary advantage in the manner the farm was discharged from Lima Bank under liquidation.
Mr. Tayali however says it is unfortunate that the case of Pheluna Hatembo and Milton Hatembo has become a political myth.
He wondered why the police have not found the Hatembos who are the key witnesses despite a trail of people they met before disappearing.
Mr. Tayali has since urged the police to find the Hatembos as a way to restoring public confidence in the service wing.
Speaking during a media briefing , Mr. Tayali said he wants to know who allegedly forged the documents which were filed at Ministry of Lands to change the title deeds.
