CHIPOLOPOLO TO PLAY BAFANA BAFANA IN FINAL. Lazarous Kambole was the hero of the evening as he scored Zambia’s winning penalty to beat Zimbabwe 5-4 and set up a final against South Africa in the on-going Four Nations Tournament in Ndola.

Kambole was also the scorer of Zambia’s equaliser in the final minute of regulation time for the Chipolopolo to draw 2-all  to force the match into post-match penalties.


Zambia will play South Africa in the final on Saturday at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium while Angola and Zimbabwe clash in the third-place playoff.

Zimbabwe scored first in the first half with a Charles Shamujompa own goal before Justin Shonga equalized for Zambia.

The Warriors later scored to lead 2-1 but Lazarous Kambole had the final say with a last minute close range strike.

Earlier South Africa beat Angola 7-6 on penalties in a game which kicked off at exactly 15:00 hours at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

The Bafana Bafana and the Palancas Negras of Angola settled for a one all draw before heading to penalties.
