Former National Democratic Congress (NDC) leader Chishimba Kambwili has charged that Zambia risk going back to the 1970s when the country was fighting tribalism and regionalism if they vote for the United Party for National Development (UPND).
Speaking when he featured on Breeze FM in Chipata, Mr Kambwili who is now a PF member said Mr Hichilema is a wrong person with a hidden agenda.
“When you tell him the truth about his tribalism he becomes very upset.I dont want Zambia to go back to the stone age, to have a president who rides on his tribe and start giving favor to his tribe and not look at all the tribes in Zambia,” he said
Mr Kambwili said Zambians have rejected UPND because of their tribalist traits.
“PF is far much better than UPND that is why I left and decided to go back to PF,” he said
Meanwhile, Mr Kambwili said the United Nation has given a reliable account of what has caused the price of commodities to go up in various parts of the world especially in Africa.
“HH knows for sure what has caused the price of commodities to go up but he is lying that it’s the PF and only him can sort it out. People of Eastern Province would you believe that president Lungu will deliberately allow prices of things to go up and allow people to suffer,” he said
Mr Kambwili also highlighted various projects that government has established in Eastern province among them the 33 milling companies.
He said it will be unreasonable to remove PF from government before finishing its developmental plan is completed.
