The rate at which the Lusaka City Council—LCC—is leasing out land designated for recreational amenities worries Kabwata Member of Parliament ANDREW TAYENGWA.
According to Mr. TAYENGWA, the majority of his constituency’s former play fields have been converted into residential or commercial zones.
Yet, he claims that the renovation of the few remaining facilities is planned utilizing constituency development funds.
Youths in the Munali Constituency have also criticized the state for its lack of play areas and sporting facilities.
