Da Les in big trouble & is set to lose his properties after failing to pay R155 000 debt! The taxman is coming after Da Les and his record label for avoiding to pay his taxes.
According to Sunday World, SARS filed papers at the Johannesburg High Court last month, stating that the rapper had failed to settle an R131 000 tax bill incurred for the 2018/2019 tax period.
Da Les’s record label owed SARS R131 822.41 in unpaid Pay As You Earn (Paye) and as a result incurred R5 881.48 in interest and a further R13 179.46 in penalties. He is also accused of owing at least R4 246.94 in unpaid UIF payments and was also slapped with additional penalties and interest amounting to R5 000.
Da Les and his record label, Fresh 2 DEF Productions, are now facing a legal lawsuit of over R155 000 total in unpaid taxes SARS for the 2018/2019 tax period.
The rapper has now been accused of ignoring SARS’ plea asking him to pay up his taxes as no payment has been made from him or his company.
