Following allegations that he had molested his 15-year-old daughter, a 46-year-old Luanshya father was taken into custody.
Between November 23 and 24, this year, Elvis Mando is said to have gone and collected his daughter along with two other siblings from their aunt’s residence and violated her on an unspecified day.
Mando is thought to have taken advantage of his wife’s mental instability and chosen to have a relationship with his oldest daughter instead.
According to Copperbelt Commanding Officer Peacewell Mweemba, who confirmed the report, the victim’s aunt reported the event.
Brief facts are that the victim was staying with the younger sister to her mother because the mother is said to be of unsound mind. On the material day the victim was home with three other children when the suspect went and got the victim and her two younger sisters and took them to his house where the suspect, who is the biological father, had canal knowledge of her,” he said.
He said the victim later reported the matter to her aunt who later reported to the police.
“The victim is admitted to Roan General Hospital receiving treatment and the condition is said to be stable, while the suspect is in police custody and will appear in court soon,” he said.
