FIFA president Gianni Infantino mourns Nkana’s Chrispine Mulenga
FAZ) FIFA president Gianni Infantino has mourned Nkana midfielder Chrispine Mulenga who died in a road traffic accident on Sunday.
“I would like to express my sincerest and heartfelt condolences on the tragic passing of the young Nkana FC player, Chrispine Mulenga, after being involved in a road traffic accident last Sunday.
Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel for the loss,” says Infantino.
“On behalf of FIFA and the international football community, I wish to extend our deepest condolences to the Football Association of Zambia, Nkana, and most importantly, to Chrispine’s family, teammates, friends, and loved ones. Our thoughts are with all of you.”
Chrispine will be laid to rest on October 28, 2020 in Luanshya.
