MultiChoice is highlighting its readiness to provide all DStv and GOtv subscribers with exhilarating athletic action and drama as part of its celebration of the beginning of the new football season.
Leah Kooma, Managing Director of MultiChoice Zambia, commented on the start of the new football season:
“We are particularly happy about the new football season because it is yet another opportunity for us to serve our consumers with wonderful entertainment that is second to none.
Beginning on August 5, 2022, there will be thrilling sporting action in the English Football League, Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and Bola Yapa Zed.
“I’m excited to say MultiChoice through SuperSport is ready for football’s greatest season and we will be showing all the matches on our new dedicated channels on SuperSport with DStv and GOtv customers getting access to games available on their specific packages,” remarked Kooma.
SuperSport will broadcast each of the 1 900 games of this football season on several channels. 380 Premier League games, 760 Serie A games, and 760 La Liga games are among the games, with all of the live broadcasts from each league coming from SuperSport.
The Premier League’s most watched matches will be available on SS223 while the remaining matches will be available during the next 24 to 36 hours (on which channel). The highest watched matches in La Liga will air on SS224, with the remaining games airing on SS228.
Customers of GOtv will also have access to various international football fixtures, including specific Premier League games on SS 31, if they have the GOtv SUPA, Max, or Plus plan. Customers of GOtv Plus will receive twice as many live games of the Premier League (delayed), La Liga, and Serie A each weekend as they did last year.
