Shepolopolo Coach Bruce Mwape says all foreign based players will join camp next month as the team intensifies preparations for the upcoming Tokyo Olympic games.
Mwape says by next month he will have a full house that’s likely to comprise 22 players.
Speaking during the team’s training session in Lusaka this morning Mwape says all local players that have been assembled are currently confined to the National football team and will not actively take part in the Women’s League.
He also disclosed that currently the team is only nursing three injuries and that two of the players are expected to resume full training this week while the Anita Mulenga is set to undergo a medical checkup.
Mwape said the team is currently taking its training seriously having in mind that they are the continents flag bearers.
He said the team’s ultimate goal is to reach the finals of the Olympic games.
Mwape further said team is making steady progress and that he is also looking forward to some local friendlies.
