HH to meet with IMF officials

THE International Monetary Fund( IMF) deputy managing director Antoinette Sayeh is listed to visit Lusaka, Zambia from Wednesday moment.

According to the Ministry of Finance and National Planning, during the stint of duty, Ms Sayeh will pay a courtesy call on President Hakainde Hichilema.
Ms Sayeh will further hold conversations with the Minister of Finance and National Planning, Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane and Bank of Zambia governor Dr Denny kalyalya.

“ The high- position addresses between the IMF and the Government will concentrate on recent
profitable developments, the effect of global profitable developments similar as high oil painting
and toxin prices on the Zambian frugality, and bandy progress made on debt restructuring – an important step towards a formal programme with the IMF, ” reads the statement.

The Ministry said Ms Sayeh is also anticipated to hold conversations with nembers of congress, civil society and other development mates.
The IMF Deputy Managing Director will be accompanied to the high- position meetings
with Zambian authorities by Acting IMF Resident Representative Carlos Caceres, the serving IMF Resident Representative to Zimbabwe, IMF charge chief for Zambia Holland Allison, Stephanie Roudet, counsel, and other IMF staff, ” reads the statement.
