I don’t need to like him to acknowledge his brilliance: HH is at a different level

I don’t need to like him to acknowledge his brilliance: HH is at a different level. Hakainde took the words out of my mouth when he said, “You do not need to like me, to get my advice.” This sentence was so powerful that I moved to the edge of my sit to listen to what this patriotic Zambian, this passionate businessman, what this cattle rancher was talking about. Hakainde made a lot of sense in all that he said.

I sat in that chair, chin in my hands, listening spellbound to one Hakainde Hichilema, seriously discuss the state of the Zambian economy, on the Oxygen of Democracy with young Alexander Musokotwane of Prime TV on Sunday 5th August, 2019.

I have been following this economic leader very closely for the past 13 years now. I can assure you he has remained consistent with his economic trajectory messaging.

Hakainde is philosophically grounded, technically sound and his mental stamina is firm. He understands global, regional and local economic fundamentals very well. In the light of truth and sincerity, among all the party presidents we have in this country Hakainde is that one leader who understands the economy of Zambia and its motivators and inhibitors. I wished all other political party presidents did.

For a party president, I thought he acquitted himself very well on that interview. I do not need to know the guy; neither do I need to be a member of his political party to notice brilliance when it comes from him. He was simply brilliant, cool, calm and collected. He spoke from the heart.
