Kasanda Advises the Media

When certain interviewees attempt to use the media to promote lies, Chief Government Spokesperson CHUSHI KASANDA has encouraged journalists to safeguard their integrity.

The National Day of Prayers, Fasting, and Repentance was allegedly abolished by the government, according to Patriotic Front Media Director ANTONIO MWANZA.

However, Ms. KASANDA, who is also the Minister of Information and Media, has reminded Zambians that the Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO was the guest of honor at the celebration of the National Day of Prayer, Fasting, and Repentance on October 18, 2021.

She claims that the national calendar still includes the event’s commemoration.

The Ministry of National Guidance and Religious Affairs has not been abolished, as claimed by Mr. MWANZA, according to Ms. KASANDA.

The Ministry, according to her, has simply been positioned as a department under the Office of the Vice President, the country’s second-highest position.
