Zambia is prepared to legalize trade at the border crossings at Mwami and Muchinji, according to PANJI KAUNDA, the country’s high commissioner to Malawi.
Zambia, according to Colonel KAUNDA, wants to make sure that trade activities at the two border crossings are coordinated for the mutual advantage of the two nations.
He claims that lawful commercial activities are anticipated to begin as soon as the Malawian government implements the appropriate regulations.
At the time of their meeting at the KAMUZU BANDA International Airport in Lilongwe, Malawi, Lands Minister ELIJAH MUCHIMA was chatting to Colonel KAUNDA.
And Mr. MUCHIMA noted that Zambia is a landlocked nation whose commercial interactions with neighbors have significantly boosted the country’s economy.
In order to represent Vice President Mutetale Nalumango at the SADC conference of Ministers in charge of disaster risk reduction, Mr. MUCHIMA is in MALAWI.
The meeting, which takes place from July 17 to July 20, 2022, is attended by 12 SADC member nations, including Zambia.
