Rumours of South African media personality Khanyi Mbau and her Zimbabwean boyfriend Kudzai Terreence Mushonga have started to swirl online since a post broke the news on Instagram on 3 May, which has had netizens’ jaws dropped.
Socialite turned actress Khanyi Mbau broke into the scenes as “The Queen of Bling” at about 21 years old when her husband at the time bought her a Lamborghini. He was said to have been about 30 years older than her then, Briefly reported.
Since their split, Mbau has found herself hopping from relationship to relationship, looking for her next prince. She was previously linked to her sugar daddy at the time, Theunis Crous and that relationship ended with some legal drama,
Mbau then found herself in the arms of former Kwela Tebza group member Tebogo Lerole, and in 2020, she was said to had confirmed that the relationship had also failed, TimesLIVE reported. The 37-year-old is now rumoured to be back on her own again. Her recent rich Zimbabwean boy toy and she are said to have gone their separate ways.
This would not be the first time the couple has made headlines for breaking up. In September 2021, Khanyi reportedly dumped Mushonga in Dubai and returned back to Mzansi after he reportedly dropped her off at a salon, thinking he would see her again shortly after her appointment, IOL reported.
Although Mbau has not confirmed the break up rumours, her Instagram does suggest that there’s trouble in paradise. Almost all the photos that Mbau previously had up with Mushonga and her have been deleted.
