The newly elected Law Association of Zambia-LAZ executive has been guaranteed by Justice Minister MULAMBO HAIMBE of a friendly working relationship with the government.
In his congratulations to the new administration, Mr. HAIMBE stated that his Ministry would keep honoring organizations that provide the government with checks and balances in order to enhance democracy.
He promised that his Ministry would provide the new LAZ Executive with the necessary assistance so that they could effectively advance and defend the interests of the legal profession and social justice.

At its 94th Annual General Meeting, held over the weekend in Livingstone, LAZ elected LUNGISANI ZULU and NGOSA SIMACHELA as President and Vice President, respectively.
