LUSAKA High Court judge Wilfred Muma has recused himself from handling a case in which Bowman Lusambo has sued a Ndola woman over the paternity of her four children.
Lusambo sued Mercy Matongo Cowham who accused him of fathering her four children.
Lusambo applied that the court orders that a Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) test be conducted on the children to ascertain their paternity.
Mercy wants the court to order Lusambo to be maintaining the children with K5,000 for food, K3,500 groceries, rental K5,000, water bills K200, electricity K200 which comes to K13,900 per month plus K7,000 every six month for the children’s clothing.
The judge who was assigned to preside over the case has recused himself because he personally knows Lusambo.
And judge Muma has also recused himself from handling another matter involving Lusambo where he was sued by Zamtel over a house in Ndola.
