Smart Zambia and Presight AI, a renowned artificial intelligence and predictive analytics company with headquarters in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

According to ZANIS, the three-year MoU aims to strengthen partnerships between the two parties in Zambia’s usage of e-governance.

Percy Chinyama, the national coordinator for Smart Zambia, and Thomas Promotedham, the chief executive officer of Presight, both signed on behalf of their respective organizations.

At the signing event that took place at the Presight Office in Abu Dhabi, the Zambian delegation was led by ISABELLE LEMBA, the Permanent Secretary in charge of International Relations and Corporation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Corporation.

And Mrs. LEMBA claimed that President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA was ready to take advantage of the business-friendly opportunities offered by information and communication technologies (ICT), particularly to benefit young people.

The government, according to Mrs. LEMBA, wants the nation to have a young, energetic population that would not only hunt for jobs after graduation but also start their own businesses.

Mr. PRAMOTEDHAM stated that now that the MOU has been completed, his business is eager to begin working with Smart Zambia.
