Multichoice begins its World Cup 2022 campaign in Qatar and releases new material for the remainder of the year!

In addition to giving fans throughout the continent every thrilling World Cup moment, DStv and GOtv, as part of certain packages, will also provide them with top-notch commentary to enhance the viewing experience.

MultiChoice is making all 64 World Cup matches available to a restricted group of DStv and GOtv subscribers in order to provide more value to customers.

Subscribers to DStv Premium, DStv Compact, DStv Compact Plus, and GOtv SUPA will have access to the full football experience, which includes all FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 matches as they air and exciting new content, in addition to studio build-ups, wrap-ups, the best surround programming, and fan coverage. In her remarks, Mrs. Kooma focused on investments made by MultiChoice in Zambia. Through infrastructural investments and local channels like Zambezi Magic, oneZED, and SuperSport, MultiChoice has significantly contributed to the growth of the local content sector.

“Our investments have had a significant economic ripple effect through the production value chain. Through our investments in developing local channels, we have created employment opportunities for local people who are involved in local production,” said Kooma.

Mrs. Kooma gave the journalists additional information about MultiChoice’s CSR. The MultiChoice Talent Factory (MTF) Expansion program, which is intended to formalize our long-standing efforts to address issues like accessibility, opportunity, and quality in local productions, was introduced this year as part of our attempts to have a greater influence on people’s lives. To help raise the standard of the programming, this expansion program will provide training to Free-to-Air (FTAs) broadcasters and creative talent.

Journalists and attendees were exposed to a sneak peek of interesting current and upcoming programming from MultiChoice, both domestically and abroad, at the event.
