The latest to join the fish farming industry are a group of ex-miners from Chililabombe Constituency on the Copperbelt.
Area member of parliarment Richard Musukwa who has been on an empowerment drive for various groups in his constituency gave the miners a headstart. Musukwa gives Chililabombwe ex-miners headstart in fish farming
Musukwa donated 15,000 fingerlings to the ex-miners to start their business.
The group calling itself ‘Father Multi Purpose Cooperative’ also recieved a cash donation of K30,000 from the lawmaker to boost the business. Musukwa gives Chililabombwe ex-miners headstart in fish farming
After the donation, Musukwa assured the Father Multi Purpose Cooperative members of continued support to grow the project.
Last week Musukwa donated 5,000 fingerlings to youths in his constituency.
