PR Girl Media has announced Mutale Mwanza as the special guest celebrity at the Lusaka July 2020 which will be held on Saturday, 25th July 2020 at Lusaka Polo Club under the theme “Polo in Yellow”.
Mutale Mwanza is the first Zambian celebrity to be named as a “special celebrity guest” at the event since its introduction in 2016. Dubbed as the most prestigious event in Zambia, the Lusaka July has featured international celebrities such as Ghanian actress Nadia Buari, South African Boity, Zimbabwean Pokello and Namibian Dillish Matthews among other notable stars.
In a lavish occasion that attracts celebrities, public figures and lifestyle enthusiasts, the Lusaka July continues to showcase Zambian fashion. However, its not all glitz and glam as corporates such as Zambian Breweries, Trade Kings, BF Suma have joined this event as sponsors.
Speaking at the press briefing today, Trade Kings Group PR and Corporate Manager Bridget Kambobe stated that the curators of this event are an example of young excellence in Zambia. “We applaud the consistency of this event in empowering the creative industry in our country. As Trade Kings Group, we are pleased to contribute to an event that has the youthfulness that our products can be likened to.
” Ms Kambobe stated that the newly launched Vatra Water by Trade Kings has been selected as the lead product at the event stating that Vatra Water fits perfectly with the premium nature of the Lusaka July.
In addition to the corporates present at the event, BF Suma who are key players in the pharmaceutical industry will sponsor medical utensils at the Lusaka July 2020 to ensure the health and safety of the attendants. Marketing and Communications Associate of BF Suma, Arnold Zebedee stated that their mandate is to protect the well-being of communities under their “We Care Africa” campaign.
Ms. Chishimba Nyambe of PR Girl Media expressed gratitude to the event partners and corporate sponsors for their support. Ms. Nyambe said this year’s event has a special element to it as it is the first to be happening following the covid 19 pandemic and under the “new normal” conditions. She stated the importance of the Lusaka City Council’s presence in the initiative to ensure that all safety measures advised by the Public Health authorities are adhered to at the event.
The Lusaka July 2020 will be graced by showcases by fashion designers Esnoko, Cindy Mula Designs and Interfashional Africa. Attendants will be entertained by award-winning Jazz band, Afro-Red, El Mukuka and DJ Twizzie. Tickets to the event are priced at K500 for general admission and K1,000 for VIP admission.
