Must read

Actress Pearl Thusi has threatened to sue a tweep accusing her of spreading hate towards Indians in South Africa.

The tweep named Yesh commented on international actor Priyanka Chopra’s Twitter video, claiming Pearl was spreading hate against Indians on Sunday, 1 August.

Priyanka and Pearl both starred on American hit show, Quantico in 2016.

Yesh asked Priyanka to get Pearl to stop.

“Please, please help us in South Africa! Your friend Pearl Thusi is spreading hatred towards Indians in South Africa! Get her to stop, she has a 2m following and is spreading hatred without understanding the truth. We live in Phoenix and know fear. Someone needs to stop her.”

Pearl commented on the tweet and asked her followers to show her where she spread hate towards Indian people. She also said if people didn’t find where she did that, she would take the tweep to court.

“Guys, point me in the direction of when I spread hatred towards Indians? If you cannot find it, then I’d like to point my lawyer in the direction of the point where I take you to court,” she wrote.

The tweep hasn’t replied and Pearl also hasn’t said anything since.

She had been vocal about the looting and protests of the past weeks. She also voiced opinions about the murders in Phoenix.

Fans advised her to take legal action.
