Taking to Instagram, Nadia Nakai shared a sweet post dedicated to the late rapper and has been doing so ever since his death. Nakai has been penning sweet messages to her late boyfriend, AKA, and the latest one points out how much she is hurt and broken by his murder.

“Sometimes I wish I never experienced your love. I wish that you were just an acquaintance and I could say “Oh Supa Mega passed away, what a loss for the game”. If I didn’t love you, maybe it would be easier to continue my life without you,” said the rapper.

“Now, because I had been loved by you, it’s just so hard. I have this hole in my heart that won’t let up. The world just doesn’t feel the same. I try to hold onto to my memories of when I was happy before you, maybe if I remember how it was before, I could be like that again. But everything doesn’t feel real. I don’t know if seeing you everyday on social media is better or worse, I don’t know if reading our messages is healing or not,” she continued.

“I know I need to get out my house soon, and I know the people that continue to hold me down, will be there for me, thank you, But I just feel like I’ll never be ready. What is my life going to look like now? time heals all, but time really takes it’s time, and I don’t know when I’ll ever be fine,” said a heartbroken Nadia.

AKA’s family always pens sweet messages to Nadia thanking her for loving their son. Lynn Forbes said they are all indebted to Nadia for the love she showed AKA and how he changed his life for the best.

“Nadia Nakai I am forever indebted to you for the way you love and respect my son to this day. You showed him what real love and respect is and you brought out the absolute best in him.

“Kiernan was born with love, raised in love, gave love to so many and all he wanted in return was to be loved and respected in the same way. You gave that to him and he died surrounded by love. Thank you.”

Glammy ended her sweet post with a quote from Sylvester McNutt who speaks of true love, “I don’t think most people understand what true love is. It’s not the cheesy “couple goals” posts for Instagram. It’s not the fancy dates, the happy hours, or the majestic nights laughing at silly movies.

“True love is waking up in the middle of the night to help you when you’re sick because I don’t want you to be sick alone. It’s being your shoulder to cry on, to vent to. True love is being your biggest cheerleader and toughest critic. True love is looking at each other on a spiritual level, a level so deep, that you can feel them when they’re gone. True love is six little words, “no matter what, I got you.”

Tony Forbes also sent love to Nadia who received it well, “Nadia, from the first day that I met you, I knew you were right for my boy. See that smile on his dial! Thank you [for] loving him, he loved you truly. We love you.”

DJ Zinhle even said Nadia is now part of their family and will love her always.
