NAREP’s running mate Lucy Changwe joins UPND

National Restoration Party-NAREP- running mate Lucy Changwe has with immediate effect resigned from Her party and joined the United Party for National Development-UPND.

Ms. Changwe says she has decided to join the UPND because of President elect Hakainde Hichilema’s assurance and progressive pronouncements during his first press briefing.

She has told ZNBC News that pronouncements by Mr. Hichilema are NOT just stories but radiate a ray of hope especially among the youth.

Ms. Changwe, who also served as Deputy Minister during the MMD administration, further clarified that her decision to join the UPND has not been made on impulse but an outcome of a carefully thought process.
