Secretary General Davies Mwila says the party will take stern action against anyone issuing disparaging remarks on the Judiciary.
And the ruling party has distanced itself from the statement attributed to its Lusaka Province Chairperson Paul Moonga where he allegedly attacked Constitutional Court Judges.
Mr. Mwila told ZNBC News that the PF is not like other political parties that insult the Judiciary when a judgement does not go in their favour.
He said this has been shown by the party’s compliance with the previous Constitutional Judgement that asked former ministers to pay back the salaries that they got for overstaying in office.
Meanwhile, Mr. Mwila said the issue of President Edgar Lungu’s eligibility is a dead issue which was conclusively dealt with by the Constitutional Court.
He said the decision of the Court is final and cannot be challenged in any courts of law in Zambia.
Mr. Mwila said no amount of propaganda will prevent the PF from fielding President Lungu as its candidate in the 2021 General Election.
