POLICE in Lusaka have summoned PF vice-president Given Lubinda to appear before the Woodlands police station today at 09:00 hours. In an interview, Sunday, police Deputy Public Relations officer Danny Mwale confirmed the development but said he was unsure on why Lubinda had been summoned.

“Yes I can confirm with you that he has been summoned, but I’m not sure why. We are only going to find out after the interview tomorrow,” said Mwale.

But in a separate interview, PF Information and Publicity Chairperson Raphael Nakacinda said Lubinda was summoned in relation to remarks he made towards Speaker of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti when she removed nine members of parliament whose seats were nullified from the House.
