The Zambia Pool Union (ZPU) has begun discussions about adding pool as a sport to schools with the Ministries of Sports and Education.
ZPU President VICTOR KONIE is hopeful that by the next year, the sport will be performed in schools.
According to KONIE, who spoke to ZNBC news, a number of interested parties have supported the initiative and will contribute to its successful execution.
In order to keep the team active, KONIE also revealed that the national pool team will visit Kaputa this month for a friendly tournament.
He claimed that the Kaputa Pool Association, which wants to interact with national team players to gain exposure, invited the tournament.
