President Edgar Lungu has given 15-thousand kwacha to the Livingstone woman whose tomato and vegetable garden was destroyed by elephants on Sunday evening.
Livingstone District Commissioner, Mutinta Mwanamwalye delivered the money to Mediah Siamafuwa on Thursday afternoon.
Mrs. Mwanamwalye said President LUNGU was moved by Ms. Siamafuwa’s ordeal especially that her garden is her livelihood.
She stated that the President hopes Ms. Siamafuwa can use the money to restart her business.
And Ms. Siamafuwa has thanked President Lungu whom she has described as fatherly.
She has appealed to Zambians to vote President Lungu back into office so that he can continue to help the less privileged.
