President HH to take state visit to Kenya

PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema is hereafter listed to be in Kenya on a two day assignation to hold bilateral addresses with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Stanely Kakubo said the chairman will take over the state visit from hereafter to Thursday June 16th on assignation of President Kenyatta.
“ During the visit, President Hichilema and President Kenyatta will hold bilateral addresses which will centre on issues of interest between the two countries. The two Heads of State will also bandy indigenous, international and transnational issues of collective interest. The bilateral addresses will be followed by the signing of Memoranda of Understanding( MoUs) between Zambia and Kenya in colorful sectors which will give for the farther connection of social profitable cooperation between the two countries, ” he said.

Mr Kakubo said President Hichilema’s administration is laboriously working to unleash the country’s frugality and give openings that will better the lives of Zambians, including high- position engagements aimed at exploring innovative ways of enhanced cooperation between countries for collective benefit.
“ President Hichilema has continued to emphasize the significance of close cooperation among African nations to increase trade and investment and insure lesser integration. The President also continues to emphasise the supremacy of peace and security as a prerequisite for development on the mainland. thus, through this visit, the Head of State and his counterpart will make on this instigation to further solidify relations between Zambia and Kenya in colorful areas of cooperation, ” he said.

He said previous to the State visit by the President, Zambia and Kenya conducted the Mid Term Review of the Zambia- Kenya Joint Permanent Commission of Cooperation in Nairobi, from 12th to 13th June 2022 in medication for the State Visit.
Mr Kakubo added that President Hichilema is listed to return to Zambia incontinently after his engagements.
