President Lungu donates K50,000 to a Church


President Edgar Lungu has donated 50,000 Kwacha towards the completion of an ablution block at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kabushi Constituency in Ndola.

Kabushi Member of Parliament Bowman Lusambo GU’s earlier donation of 1-hundred pockets of cement for the same project a few months ago.

Speaking during mass, Mr Lusambo, who is also Lusaka Province Minister, said the Head of State wants the church to have good infrastructure which congregants can use when attending church services.

The ablution block has been roofed and only plastering and painting works are remaining before it can be opened for use.

Meanwhile, Mr Lusamb has pledged to buy new uniforms and musical instruments for the church choir at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kabushi.

And Parish Priest KELVIN BWALYA said Zambians must not condone those practising tribalism.
