Phase one of the multi-million Lusaka Decongestion Project has been completed, and President Edgar Lungu is this Friday expected to commission the Longacres flyover bridge.
Local Government Minister, Charles Banda has inspected the bridge, saying the Lusaka Decongestion Project has been completed at a cost of 2-hundred and 69 million dollars.
Dr Banda was highlighted that the Longacres flyover bridge is the fourth bridge to be constructed under phase one, after the Makeni, Arcades, and Munali flyover bridges.
The Minister has explained that the completion of the project will help curb vehicle traffic congestion on the roads.
