As the country facing a lockdown, TV, and radio personality Somizi Mhlongo has stepped out to help a vendor by buying all of their stock so that they have something to sustain them during this trying time. It’s less than 48 hours until the country is in lockdown to flatten the curve of Coronavirus on the President’s instruction.
Somizi is leading from the front as he bought a street vendor’s stock so that she has money for the twenty-one days she won’t be working. He took to social media encouraging his fans to do the same.

Another celeb who took on the challenge is actress Terry Pheto who shared she emptied another vendor’s shelf. “I’m one of THEM. I just emptied shelf ya makip-kip. I literally took everything the guy had,” Terry shared.
