The review process for the government’s Public Private Partnership project to upgrade the border infrastructure at three Copperbelt borders has begun.
The borders are at Ndola, Mufulira, and Chililabombwe and are called Sakania, Mokambo, and Kasumbalesa.
The initiatives, according to MARGARET MUDENDA, a member of the Public Private Partnership Council, also involve building parking lots and enhancing the roads leading to the boundaries.
When Ms. MUDENDA’s group visited Copperbelt Province Deputy Permanent Secretary DANIEL KAMENGA, she made this statement.
Stephen Chanda, Senior Development Manager for PPPs at the Ministry of Finance and National Development, reaffirmed that the review process for the bids will begin soon.
