The Training of 1,800 Census Coordinators

Western Province Zonal Census Coordinator training is now taking place in Kambule Beit Hall in Mongu District with about 1,800 participants.

In order to be ready for the population and housing census in 2022, the officers are receiving training.

The exercise is a crucial implementation step, according to Western Province Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary RICHARD MULWANDA, as it is the second in a series of training sessions aimed at properly preparing field employees.

Mr. MULWANDA stated that the government is dedicated to performing the census in accordance with the law during the official commencement of the ten-day training.

RAPHAEL MASANGU, the regional statistician for Western Province, revealed that the Zonal Coordinators were chosen from among the districts in each of the province’s sixteen zones since they would be responsible for training numerators in those zones.
