Government says it will work with various stakeholders to continue supporting the preparations of Athletes that are taking part in the Tokyo Olympic games.
Youth and Sports Minister Emmanuel Mulenga says government is committed to ensuring that the qualified Athletes are ready to go and reap medals in Japan.
He was speaking in a speech delivered on his behalf by Permanent Secretary at the Ministry,John Phiri during the handover of assorted items by Trade Kings group of companies to the Podium Performance Training Center.
Mulenga has since implored the company to consider using Sportsmen in the country in their branding and marketing strategies.
And, Trade Kings Head of Events and Promotions Vincent Masongo said the company is delighted to be associated with the Olympics-bound team.
And, 200 meters 2019 African Games Gold medalist Sydney Siame who gave a vote of thanks on behalf of the Athletes said the gesture by Trade Kings is a sign of good will and should be emulated by all.
