Meet Jackson Mwanaumo, a University of Zambia student who has become the first Zambian to be selected as a Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador. He is passionate about building tech communities to solve real-world problems. He shares that at the time he was in his first year, the only thing he could do on a computer/ PC was to play music. He couldn’t even use Microsoft Word effectively.
But now, due to the exposure he has gotten from the community and the passion he has for tech, Jackson can now build software. It is this among others that has motivated him to devote his time to make sure he shares his knowledge with others.
He shares that, “having to play a part in building someone’s passion has been one of my greatest joys during my journey as a Student Ambassador. I, therefore, want to make sure each University in Zambia has a Student Ambassador so we can have a greater impact and build software for the benefit of the country at large.”
We wish him all the best as he works to build more impactful tech communities around Zambia.
