PF wanted to start this journey of removing subsidies for “cost-reflective tariffs” 10 years ago. If we were honest with ourselves that would have been a bipartisan effort seeing that what we are doing is exactly what PF wanted to do in 2013 and we violently objected.
Today we would have cost-reflective tariffs and fuel prices without subsidies. But we chose to play politics knowing full well we didnt have a better answer and yet championed ourselves as if we had the secret formula for coca-cola.
You can insult, try to justify this all you want. The fact remains that we lied. Thats it. And it doesnt take a rocket scientist to see this fact!!
