Livingstone District Commissioner, Pascalina Musokotwane has encouraged women and youths in the district to take advantage of the various government empowerment programmes.
Mrs. Musokotwane says women and youths, regardless of political affiliation, are free to apply for empowerment funds in order to improve their lives.
She said this at Saint Andrews Anglican Church, where she attended the Palm Sunday Service.
And Mrs. Musokotwane has donated fifty bags of relief mealie meal to the Church, for distribution to the vulnerable members and those who have been negatively affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
She says the mealie meal donation should not be politicized, because it is from the Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit -DMMU- meant for the vulnerable.
