Zambia is scheduled to participate in the Commonwealth Games.

Ahead of the games’ opening today, the athletes from Zambia competing for their nation at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England, have gotten situated.

The National Olympic Committee of Zambia’s (NOCZ) group of athletes, coaches, and officials held a two-week pre-tournament training camp at Durham University in Newcastle.

The athletes have been urged to give it their all by Sports Minister ELVIS NKANDU.

NKANDU urged the Zambian athletes he spoke in Birmingham to bring honor to their nation by winning gold.

The athletes were pushed by NOCZ President ALFRED FOLOKO to compete well in all sports disciplines and win medals.

And BWALYA BANDA, Head of Delegation for Team Zambia, thanked the NOCZ and the Ministry of Sports for helping to organize a two-week pre-tournament in Durham.
