Zambia Is Seeking $5 Billion For Water and Sanitation Projects

Zambia is looking to raise $5.7 billion by 2030 to increase water security and sanitation projects, according to Water Development Minister MIKE MPOSHA.

Mr. MPOSHA was speaking in Sweden at a workshop on the virtues and advantages of water during World Water Week.

He urged Zambia’s partners to think about collaborating with the government to carry out the country’s investment plans.

Additionally, the Chief Operating Officer of the Stockholm International Water Institute, KARIN GARDES, stated that her organization is conducting academic and technical research to assist developing countries in making wise political decisions in the water sector.
