ZAMBIA SCHEDULES CREDITORS

The government is anticipated to hold the second meeting with international creditors, according to Finance Minister SITUMBEKO MUSOKOTWANE.

The meeting is likely to reach an agreement on how the country’s debt will be restructured, according to Dr. MUSOKOTWANE, who CANNOT provide the the date of the gathering.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) scheme will be implemented as soon as the debt is restructured, he told journalists in LUSAKA.

Zambia is looking for an IMF bailout package worth 1.4 billion US dollars.
