Zimbabwe’s health ministry has announced that the country has administered one million Covid-19 jabs.

So far 666,786 people have received their first dose and 335,679 their second dose, according to data from the health ministry published by state-owned Herald newspaper.

Zimbabwe has mostly used the China-manufactured Sinopharm vaccine. There had been reports that the supply had run out.

The country has reported more than 38,000 Covid-19 cases and 1,500 deaths.
