12 prohibited immigrants thought to be from Pakistan were found in a Toyota Alphard with the registration number AIC 4225 when it was stopped by police in Lusaka.
According to police deputy spokesperson Danny Mwale, at 22:30 hours yesterday, police received information that people at a specified Lodge in the Kabangwe neighborhood of Lusaka were perhaps prohibited immigrants.
“Acting on the information, officers managed to intercept the said motor vehicle as it attempted to leave. Investigations have been instituted in conjunction with the Department Immigration,” he said.
