In Lusaka’s Kanyama Compound, two persons have been arrested for running illegal drug outlets.
Additionally, numerous drugs and related items worth an undisclosed sum of money have been seized.
This is part of an operation carried out by the Zambia Police Service and the Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority (ZAMRA).
According to ZAMRA Senior Public Relations Officer LUDOVIC MWAPE, the organization has since closed down pharmacies for individuals detained.
