26-year-old idiot raped by nephew

Her 30-year-old nephew had sexually assaulted a 26-year-old Luanshya woman.

When the victim’s mother left her home alone to go to the field, her nephew Joseph Kamba, who had just returned from a drinking binge, took advantage of her and sexually assaulted her.

According to Copperbelt commanding officer Peacewell Mweemba, police have subsequently received an allegation of an idiot being defiled on Monday at or around 14:00 in Luanshya’s Kafubu Farm block.

“Brief facts are that on the fateful day, the mother to the victim went to the field and left her daughter , now victim and mentally sick alone at home. Her grandson Kamba, who now happens to be the suspect was not home at the time because he had gone drinking beer within the area. When she returned home at around 18:00 hours she observed that her daughter was limping and when she asked her what happened to her, she revealed that whilst at home alone, her nephew, Kamba returned home and had canal knowledge of her in the house,” he said.

According to Mr. Mweemba, the victim’s mother brought her to Kafubu Block Clinic on Wednesday about 08:00 hours, where she was advised to report the incident to Leonard Mpundu Police Station.
