Four new cases of cholera have been reported in the past day in the Eastern Province’s Vubwi District.
The four have been admitted to and are being treated at the Vubwi Cholera Treatment Center, according to MAZYANGA LIWEWE, Director of Communication, Information, and Research at the Zambia National Public Health Institute.
The new cases, according to Ms. LIWEWE, raise the overall number of cholera cases to 21.
Ms. LIWEWE stated that the Cholera vaccination is still being given in the District to stop the disease from spreading during a phone interview with ZNBC News in Lusaka.
